Creating Custom Wedding Albums
There's nothing quite like the feeling of opening up a fresh new hardcover book and flipping through the pages filled with that strange yet intoxicating "new book smell" about them. Am I right? Don't tell me I'm the only paper nerd here :)
As some of you know, I'm a graphic designer by trade and went through the DAAP program at the University of Cincinnati. My time spent there and at co-ops like LPK and Interbrand gave me an intense appreciation for detail, quality and creativity that I try to carry into not only my photography, but also the albums that come after the big day.
Recently, I photographed Kelsey + Ashes wedding at Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati, Ohio. The setting was breathtaking, the wedding was beyond unique and, let's be honest, Kelsey was drop-dead gorgeous.
I was so excited when they approached me about wanting an album designed! I feel like this is the proverbial icing on the cake for the wedding day. Yes, you have your images online and yes, you can print them and hang them on the walls. But, a wedding album is one of those cherished pieces of family history you create that your children and their children generations from now can physically hold and remember you by.
Okay, okay, enough mushy gushy.
Here's a peek at their album layout. Once we get the final book, I'll update this post with images of the physical product. Enjoy!
